The trailer consists of a chassis with wheels (25) and an axle on a trolley (2) with front and rear (27) rollers that can slide along lengthwise guide rails (16). The guide rails are open at the end, and at the rear of the trailer their ends lie adjacent to additional guides (31) that interact with concave upper guide surfaces (28) on the trolley, allowing the trolley to pivot about a transverse axis and lower the trailer platform towards the ground.
