PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic vending machine system capable of drastically reducing ROM capacity in an automatic vending machine and further executing an application program without increasing startup time of the automatic vending machine. SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine system is characterized such that a multipurpose computer divides the program into a copy part and a compressed part when application program size is larger than memory card capacity, after that, a repeatedly executes compression processing while increasing the compressed part little by little until 'the copy part + compressed part after compression' comes below the capacity, and writes pieces of size information of the respective areas, the copy part and the compressed part after the compression to a memory card at a state that 'the copy part + compressed part after compression' becomes under the capacity. On the other hand, the automatic vending machine executes the copy part read on the basis of the size information written in an internal ROM and simultaneously uncompresses the compressed part read on the basis of the size information. |
