ROUTE CONTROL SYSTEM, ROUTE CONTROL METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR EXECUTING IT IN COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a problem wherein alteration of route of an IP network in conventional multicast communication is controlled by a routing protocol where the route can be switched by communicating information between routers upon occurrence of a trouble in the route but the route cannot be altered under specific conditions. SOLUTION: A monitoring means 6 monitors occurrence of a predetermined event for switching the information delivery route to a destination on a network and collects information for deciding the switching of route. Based on the information for deciding the switching of route and predetermined conditions for deciding occurrence of a specific event, a decision means 5 decides alteration of a first route to a second route and a source tunnel router 17 transmits a packet to the second route based on a route decided by the decision means.
