PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the tray holding mechanism of an optical disk, which can suppress the rattling of a tray while the number of parts is reduced and cost is reduced. SOLUTION: The tray holding mechanism in the optical disk device has a tray 30 where an optical disk is vertically arranged, and a bottom case 40 which is fixed in the optical disk device and holds the upper end part 35 and/or the lower end part 33 of the tray so that the tray 30 can be protruded/entered from/into the optical disk device. The mechanism has pressing members 42 and 48 which are integrally formed with the bottom case 40, which abut on the side of an abutting part 44 arranged in the tray upper end part 35 and/or the tray lower end part 33 and prevent the rattling of the tray 30 when it is stored.
