PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book device without sense of incompatibility compared with paper books in any points of appearance, operation, handling, and display state. SOLUTION: The electronic book device 3 is structured to be similar to a paper book in the whole shape by binding six sheets of paper form display medium 302 in a book form. This electronic book device 3 allocates and displays data of the number of pages corresponding to the number of sheets on each page display medium constituting the book, namely, the device pre-allocates and displays data of 10 pages on 10 pieces of display devices arranged on the 6 sheets of page display medium, and also at the time of renewing the display data, the device pre-allocates and displays the renewal data on the other pages except the present page.
