PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a plurality of data terminals at an optional communication speed in a bulk communication terminal adapter that bundles a plurality of BRI(basic rate interface) lines. SOLUTION: This bulk communication terminal adapter 1 that bundles the plurality of BRI lines has a terminal interface function F11 for connecting a plurality of data terminals 3a and 3b, a data combining/dividing function F12 for performing bulk combination of data terminal data and dividing the bulk combined data into the plurality of data terminals, a bulk control function F13, a line interface function F14, a training data transmitting and receiving function F132, a configuration information storing function F17 for storing configuration information showing the allocation of a communication speed of each of the data terminals, a configuration information mounting function F161 for mounting the configuration information on training data, and a configuration information contents recognizing function F162 for recognizing contents of the configuration information from received training data, and decides data combination and division on the basis of the configuration information.
