PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set capable of freely selecting and setting an information type to be displayed as calling/incoming call history and retrieving the information type with the same operation. SOLUTION: In this telephone set provided with a memory for storing calling or receiving history of information belonging to different information types and a history reading means for preliminarily reading the calling or receiving history from the memory in time sequence and displaying the calling or receiving history on an indicator, a selecting and allocating means for selecting and allocating an information type to be displayed on the indicator is provided, and when the history reading means is operated, only information belonging to an information type allocated by the selecting and allocating means is displayed on the indicator.
