PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type of dynamo-electric machine which can perform the improvement of drive properties at start and operation, the prevention of demagnetization of a permanent magnet, the increase of efficiency, and the reduction of noise. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a columnar rotor core 3 the center of which a rotary shaft pierces, a permanent magnet embedding hole 18 which is made at this rotor core 3 so that the end in axial direction may form an opening, an end plate 5 which is provided at the end in axial direction of the rotor core 3, and a platingless permanent magnet 12 which is inserted into the permanent magnet embedding hole 18. The interior of the permanent magnet embedding hole 18 is kept airtight to outside air.
