PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a starting/charging electric rotating machine for vehicle in which replacing work of a brush can be facilitated. SOLUTION: The starting/charging electric rotating machine 1 for vehicle functioning as a motor or a generator comprises a rotor 2 having a field winding 2a, a stator 3 having a stator winding 3a, brackets 4 and 5 supporting the rotor 2 and the stator 3, a brush 12 having one end touching the rotor 2 and supplying a field current to the field winding 2a of the rotor 2, and a rotation sensor 6 mounted on the rotary shaft 9 of the rotor 2 coaxially therewith and detecting the state of the rotor 2 wherein the pole position sensor 6 is secured to the brackets 4 and 5 integrally therewith. |
