PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor illumination drive capable of turning on and off illumination fitted outdoors by supplying electric power from the primary side to the secondary side of a coupling transformer with no contact. SOLUTION: In the coupling transformer A for supplying electric power from the primary side to the secondary side with no contact, a human sense detection means 48 for illuminating an outside illumination 26 is provided. This outdoor illumination drive is provided with an extension timer for continuing turning on the outdoor illumination 26 for a prescribed time, and a lighting intensity detection means 49 for turning off the outdoor illumination 26 within a time zone with high lighting intensity.
