<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation supporting device capable of efficiently retrieving and displaying similar examples in the past and supporting an operation of a plant for an operator. SOLUTION: The operation supporting device is provided with a process data selection part 105 extracting the time for which an absolute value is equal to present process data 104 within a prescribed range from a past process data base 103 and selecting time sequential data for which a prescribed time width is traced back from the time from the data base as the time sequential data of a primary candidate, a similar data extraction part 107 extracting the past process data similar to the present process data as similar data 108 by calculating the polynomial approximate of the time sequential data of the primary candidate and performing cluster analysis of the coefficient value, and a display means 109 displaying the similar data.</p> |
