<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner which can prevent filming of a photoreceptor without contaminating a developing sleeve or a layer thick ness regulating member and which has preferable electrification rising property and can maintain the electrification performance for a long time. SOLUTION: The resin electrification controlling agent included in the binder resin of the electrophotographic toner consists of monomers having sulfonate groups, aromatic monomers having electron withdrawing groups and acrylate monomers and/or methacrylate monomers and/or aromatic vinyl monomers as the structural units and has 9.5 to 11.5 LogΩ.cm volume resistance. The additive consists of hydrophobic silica having 0.01 to 0.03μm primary particle size, titanium oxide having 0.01 to 0.03μm primary particle size and 60 to 140 m<2> /g specific surface area and subjected to hydrophobic treatment, and hydrophobic silica having 30 to 150 m<2> /g specific surface area, 130 to 300 ml/100 g oil absorption and 30 to 70% wetting value of methanol.</p> |
