PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a configuration of a program recording signal reproducing device, that can easily attain skip reproduction of a CM part of a received and recorded program and program search reproduction of a desired part, with respect to a particular performer and a particular scene. SOLUTION: The configuration of the program-recording signal reproducing device 40 is realized, such that a user 4 receives and records a broadcast program, uses an index information acquiring means 56 to obtain information sent from a service center 1, on the basis of contents information and reception start time information associated with the received program, sets program reproduction or skip reproduction of the program on the basis of the contents information to a reproduction method setting means 79, enables a recording medium access reproduction means 65 to access and reproduce the program recording part to which the setting is set, on the basis of the time information included in the index information.
