The sedan comprises a bodywork (2) forming the compartment (3) delimited by a floor, a roof (4) comprising a retractable roof (10) and a rear door (5) with a rear window (6) and a panel (7). The retractable roof is formed from several transverse slats (51) which can be moved rearwards. There are means for guiding and displacing the rear window between a closed position and a retracted position and means for translating the panel and window in a vertical plan between a closed position and an open position where the panel is placed in front of the rear bumper and under the floor.
