PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode structure for a solid polymer fuel cell which gives birth to an excellent adhesion between a polymer electrolyte film and an electrode catalyst layer. SOLUTION: A process of forming an electrode structure integrating a pair of electrode catalyst layers 1, 1 and a polymer electrolyte film 2 with the polymer electrolyte film pinched by both electrode catalyst layers and a process of supplying current of not less than 0.1A/cm<2> for not less than five hours to the electrode structure under humidified atmosphere of relative humidity of 60% or more are provided.
