PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital video signal low-level detection circuit that can realize simplified adjustment and stable performance, and to provide a digital video signal processing circuit for using the same. SOLUTION: The digital video signal low-level detection circuit includes a minimum value storage circuit means 12 for detecting the minimum value for each horizontal period, an addition circuit means 17, a subtraction circuit means 14, and a multiplication circuit means 16 for implementing calculation processing for estimating the low level of an input signal from the detected minimum value, and a digital synchronization separator circuit means 11 for generating a horizontal reset for timing control.
