PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a device for recording/reproducing AV data to discriminate disabled/enabled copying by having only to check reproduction management information, when copy generation management information is provided to the reproduction management information of AV data. SOLUTION: The information recording medium includes the medium records AV data and reproduction management information of the AV data, the AV data are recorded, while being divided into video object units, each video object unit has copy generation management information, corresponding to the video object unit itself and/or the reproduction management information has copy control information corresponding to the video object unit.
