PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive device having structure for reducing hissing sound generated with the rotation of a disk. SOLUTION: The optical disk drive device is provided with a device main body having optical pickup inside, a tray 1 having a saucer which is movably supported freely inside and outside the device main body and freely attachably and detachably holds the optical disk 2 and an optical disk rotary mechanism which rotatably supports the optical disk on the saucer when the tray where the optical disk is kept on the saucer is loaded in the device main body. An outer peripheral wall 20 whose height exceeds an optical disk face when the optical disk is kept on the saucer is protrusively arranged on the peripheral part 15 of the saucer 10 of the tray. The outer peripheral wall exceeds the height L of the optical disk face in all parts.
