PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin disc device capable of compensating for rotational balance even if a disc is rotated at a high speed. SOLUTION: This disc device is provided with a rotating shaft 23 rotatably supported on a bearing 22 and a rotor magnet 24 rotating together with the rotating shaft 23. A stator coil 26 is provided in the outer periphery of the rotor magnet 24. The stator coil 26 is provided partially in an area coming into no contact with an optical head 10 moved to the inmost periphery side in the surrounding of the rotor magnet 24. A spherical body 31 serving as a balance adjusting means is provided between the bearing 22 and the rotor magnet 24.
