PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilanguage chat system capable of checking also an already exchanged message by converting the language of the message into another language and quickly reflecting a user's state. SOLUTION: Terminal equipment 10 can input a message by specifying the input language of the message, specify an output language, specify the language of a message received from a server, and display the message received from the server. In a server device 30, a translation engine 53 translates the message transmitted from the terminal equipment 10 into several languages and a chat control part 51 stores the translated messages in a message storage part 54 in each language. The control part 51 refers to the message storage part 54, extracts the message of the output language specified by the equipment 10 and returns the extracted message to the equipment 10 through a communication server 40. The equipment 10 requests the transfer of the message to the server device 30, and the server device 30 updates the message. |
