PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-use outside recognition device that can hardly be damaged from wiper operations, even at a cold place such as a snow road. SOLUTION: The vehicle-use outside recognition device is provided with an imaging means 101 for photographing a state of surroundings of own vehicle from the interior of the vehicle, a circumferential state grasp means 102 for grasping the circumferential state from the result of photographing by the imaging means 101, a wiper means 103 for wiping window glass panes of its own vehicle, a wiper control means 104 for outputting the operating control of the wiper means 103 and position information of wipers or outputting velocity information, in addition to position information, an in-image wiper position calculation means 105 for calculating the wiper position, in an image captured by the imaging means 101 from an output of the wiper control means 104, and an image processing correction means 106 for correcting image processing conducted by the circumferential state grasp means 102, interlocked with the output of the in-image wiper position calculation means 105.
