Visualisation of data representing web site visitor activity

Data is presented for visualization by maintaining a discrete set of finite data values in a computer memory and displaying each data value centered on a respective data point, with a plurality of the data points being positioned in a circular array. A contour generator generates and displays a contoured representation around each data point so that the data point is displayed as a local maximum.
