The x-ray diagnosis device has an x-ray tube, an x-ray generator, a two-dimensional solid state x-ray image converter with a matrix arrangement of pixel elements and an absorber layer for x-rays, an image system and a reproduction device. The absorber layer has scintillator granules (18), e.g. of amorphous selenium, embedded in a light sensitive polymer (17).
