An information processing apparatus and method capable of easily reading out and displaying a WEB content stored even when connection to a network is disabled. In a screen memo list screen (451) displayed on a cam coder LCD, a user operates a cross key and a decision button to operate an anchor. When the user selects “return” of item (452A), the CPU of the cam coder closes the screen memo list screen (451). Moreover, when the user selects “addition” of item (452B), the CPU adds the WEB content currently displayed on the browser screen to a memory card. Furthermore, when the user selects a screen memo of item (452C to 452G), the screen memo selected is read in from the memory card and displayed on the browser screen. The present invention can be applied to a cam coder.
