ELECTRIC HEATER

摘要

FIELD: heating technique; electric heaters for enclosed premises. SUBSTANCE: proposed electric heater uses infrared radiation, that is invisible radiation at wavelengths ranging between 1-2 mm and 0.74 mcm. Electric heater has housing accommodating stiff base that mounts infrared radiation components. Reflector and insulating layer are installed between radiation components and rear wall of housing. Base has longitudinal T-section spars rigidly fixed together by means of cross-members. Infrared radiation components are secured on bent-out ledges of cross-members. Reflector is made of flexible aluminum alloy sheet elastically fitted in notches on lower ledges of spars. Lower edges of side spars are bent inside. Lower ledges of spars are provided with notches to receive side edges of reflector. EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated manufacture and assembly of heater. 3 dwg
