Skateboard consists of a frame element (1) with at least two wheels (2, 3) freely rotating about axles (4, 5) spaced apart in the radial direction; and a standing surface (6). A bearing axle is fixed to the front end of the frame element and connected to the front axle so that the front wheels rotate. A torque is produced when the skateboarder stands on the rear axle and the force is transferred onto the front wheels. Preferred Features: The standing surface extends over the rear axle. The length of the frame element is approximately half the total length of the skate board.
