FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle gearbox control devices. Proposed setter comprises housing , control lever installed on ball support for displacement along shaped cutouts of concave spherical template, spring and electromagnetic detents of neutral position and engaged position of gearshift lever and gear engagement indicator. It is furnished additional with cam installed on lever. With lever being shifted, cam acts onto ferromagnetic plate activators installed in housing for turning. Gear engagement indicators are made in form of gang of slot-type electric transmitters secured on housing cover and transmitting signals to electronic boards. Shaped cutouts of concave spherical template are provided with round grooves at end. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced force to be applied to lever at gearshifting. 3 cl, 5 dwg
