The endoscope device has a magnetic resonance coil (22), with a flexible electrical conductor (24), inserted through the hollow endoscope channel to project from its distal end. The flexible electrical conductor is fed through an elastic sleeve (26) filled with a medium allowing the sleeve to be formed into a loop with a diameter which is greater than that of the endoscope channel.
