The invention relates to a disc brake (10) comprising a brake disc (12) and two brake shoes (20) that can be pressed against both sides of the brake disc (12), said shoes being supported on a carrier (14), which is fixed to the vehicle, with regard to a peripheral force (C') that is created during the contact between the brake shoes (20) and the brake disc (12). The disc brake (10) also comprises at least one device (34) for measuring and/or converting the peripheral force (C'), arranged in a force-transmission chain between the brake shoe (20) and the carrier (14). A force-transmission member in the form of e.g. a pivoting element (30) is located between the brake shoe (20) and the device (34) for measuring and/or converting the peripheral force (C') and is guided parallel to the brake disc (12) in a displaceable manner. |
