The invention relates to a roller-shutter casing, whose longitudinal ends are sealed with plastic head pieces for supporting bearings for the end of the roller-shutter shaft. The bearing is located on an insert, consisting in particular of wooden material, which can be inserted from the interior of head piece. The latter is composed of a rigid polypropylene foam and has a recess on the side facing the roller-shutter casing for receiving the insert. A metal plate, which is connected to the insert by means of fixing elements, is provided on the exterior of the head piece.
