COMPOSITE PIPE COATED WITH FIBER REINFORCED LAYER

A composite pipe (1) has a removable layer (4) formed by winding a nonwoven fabric on the outer face of a vinyl chloride pipe (10) and an FRP layer (2) on the removable layer (4). This removable layer (4) may be made of not only the nonwoven fabric but also paper or an easily sheared or cut cloth. This material such as gypsum may also be the one that can be easily removed and can give a retaining force of the FRP layer (2) sufficiently to the vinyl chloride pipe (10). When an elbow (3) is connected to the composite pipe (1), a cut (13) reaching the removable layer (4) is circumferentially formed by a cutter (5), and the FRP layer (2) at the depth end of the cut (13) is gripped by hands and pulled out in the axial direction. The portion from which the FRP layer (2) is removed is fitted in the elbow (3).
