<p>A carton and blank for forming a carton of the top gripping type for accommodating a plurality of containers (A). The carton is tubular in structure and comprises first and second spaced panels (16; 12, 20); the first panel (16) having apertures for receiving a container, and a foldable retaining tab (52a) hingedly connected to the first panel (16) for operatively engaging part of a respective one of the containers. A support structure (30) depends from the second panel (12, 20). The support structure (30) comprises an engagement panel (34) with an engaging edge (42a) to engage at least one of the containers and/or the at least one of the retaining tabs to restrict movement of the second panel (12, 20) relative to the first panel (16).</p> |
