The drive has a connecting rod connected to a rotary driven eccentric body with an eccentricity adjustment element attached to it so as to rotate about an eccentric rotation axis. The connecting rod is joined to the adjustment element at a distance from its rotation axis. The eccentricity adjustment element is balanced with the connecting rod and the eccentric body with the eccentricity adjustment element including the connecting rod is balanced. The drive has a connecting rod (16) connected to a rotary driven eccentric body (12) with an eccentricity adjustment element (14) attached to it so as to rotate about an eccentric rotation axis. The connecting rod is joined to the eccentricity adjustment element at a distance from the rotation axis of the eccentricity adjustment element. The eccentricity adjustment element is balanced with the connecting rod and the eccentric body with the eccentricity adjustment element including the connecting rod is balanced. AN Independent claim is also included for a friction investigation device.
