FIELD: large-diameter mains servicing. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has chassis with ring through housing with open end faces, support wheel suspension units secured on said housing and holding the chassis along pipeline axis, sealing members on pouter surface of ring housing forming non-sealed ring compartment for equipment and device installed in passage part of ring housing to adjust size of passage section with remote control drive. Transportation device is furnished with cylindrical housing with sealed compartment for equipment installed inside ring housing along its axis and reciprocating motion drive installed in cylindrical housing. Device to adjust passage section of passage part of ring housing is provided with two conical diaphragms assembled of two-link mechanisms formed by trapezoidal lobes hinge coupled through larger bases and secured by smaller bases on two load-bearing rings. One load-bearing ring is fixed on cylindrical housing, and other load-bearing ring is installed on cylindrical housing for longitudinal displacement being mechanically coupled with drive.
