A method for centrifugal molding an article. A material to be molded is introduced into a centrifugal molding tool. The material has an exterior surface facing the molding tool and an interior surface defining an interior cavity. The molding tool is rotated. A force is applied in the direction of the molding tool to the interior surface of the material simultaneously with rotating the molding tool.
