<p>The invention relates to devices that are used for the NMR analysis of a material. According to the invention, the device is essentially characterised in that it comprises: a permanent magnet (21) having a north-south magnetisation (22) which is more or less perpendicular to the longitudinal axis thereof (23); and at least one RF antenna (24) consisting of at least one closed loop (27) which is essentially situated in a plane that is parallel to the north-south direction. Said closed loop surrounds the magnet (21) and the two connection terminals (25, 26) comprise two points (28, 29) on the closed loop (27) which are located on a straight line (30) that divides the loop into two more or less equal parts. The invention is particularly, although not exclusively, suitable for use in the oil industry in order to determine, for example, the quantity of water in the rock surrounding a well wall, the porosity distribution in said rock and/or the permeability thereof, etc.</p> |
