FIELD: locking device of automatic small arms, applicable in close combat automatic weapon. SUBSTANCE: the breechblock has an extractor and a cup in the front part made with grooves for passage of the bends of the magazine and deflector, and in the rear part- a handle and a striker with the hammer located in the cavity of the lower part, and a spring. The striker is positioned in the cavity of the lower part proceeding from prevention of the action of the spring on it, made in the rear part of the breechblock are through side cutouts, the distance between them is selected from the condition of provision of free travel of the striker, and the handle has a blade that is used as the breechblock bottom, is engaged with the striker and installed for changing its location on the breechblock and positioning in its through side cutouts. The striker is installed for its blocking in the front position with exit of its hammer from the cup mirror and free inertia movement over various distance between the through side cutouts of the breechblock, which is restricted by the handle blade.
