A vehicle with a safety belt of the type having a locking tongue 14 which is locked in a lock housing 18 by pushing the tongue into the lock until its apertures 22 engage projections in the housing and are thereby automatically locked and are released by lifting a lever 25, is provided with a holder 30 made of non-rigid plastic to engage the lock housing when the safety belt is not in use. The holder 30 is provided with forked tongues 37, 38 for engaging the lock housing without operating the lock, and may have a pair of hooked flanges 39 for securing it to a hand brake lever 29 or it may be screwed direct to the vehicle floor. |
