The valve (1) has a stop (12) with a flat plate (11) engaging the top surface (22) of a valve seat (2) with grooves to let the steam into a central chamber (21). The stop has a projecting peg (13) which fits into a recess (31) in the top of a frustoconical valve body (3). The conical surface (32) engages with a conical valve seat (211). A spring (4) pushes the valve body up against the valve seat.
