Tarpaulin crown roof esp. for railway goods wagons consists of alternating roof arches and erection elements and intermediate props

The roof has roof arches sliding along the vehicle chassis, and erection elements connected to them via a joint and steering arms. Props (3) between arches (1) and erectors (2) extend mainly parallel to both, and are each born in a hinge joint (6) on the steering arm (4) and in a pocket (7) in the inner roof area of the tarpaulin. Each prop is of flat steel.
