The valve (1) has an actuator (2) acting indirectly on the valve member (16) of a control valve controlling the pressure in a control cavity (17) of the valve. A compression element (27) is fitted in a guide (33) between a preliminary control cavity of the control valve and the control cavity of the valve. The pressure difference provides the valve closing force.
