The invention relates to a fuel cell combination with an electrolyte device, comprising a basic electrolyte device and an acid electrolyte device, whereby the fuel cell device is embodied such that at least one part of at least one reaction product, produced in one electrolyte device, may be introduced into the other electrolyte device. The invention further relates to a method of operating a fuel cell device, comprising the following steps: preparation of a basic electrolyte device and an acid electrolyte device, introduction of at least one fuel and at least one oxidising agent, removal of reaction products, whereby at least one part of at least one reaction product, produced in one electrolyte device, may be introduced into the other electrolyte device. |
