The pump has a hollow head with an upper mounting seat (18) for a degasser (19). An insert (20) is installed on the open base (14) of the head and defines the housing for an impeller (21) which has a suction opening (22) provided with a filter (32) and in communication with a suction pipe connector (16) in the head, and an outlet opening (23) in communication with an outlet pipe connector (17) in the head. A deflecting wall (24) formed in one piece with the insert extends from it in the axial direction and prevents the direct flow of the entering working fluid from the suction pipe connector to the suction opening of the impeller.
