The air-gap winding (29) has coil sides which are at least partially angled or curved relative to the movement direction, positioned within an air-gap (4) defined by a field device with at least 2 spaced bodies with magnetic poles magnetized perpendicular to the air-gap, the air-gap winding rotating relative to the magnetic field of the field device about a machine shaft (1). The coil sides are connected at one end to provide 2-pole air coils by winding head conductors, extending in the direction of the axis of the shaft along radial lines, for forming circular segments.
