Perforated EMI gasket

A computer chassis includes a first metal portion and a second metal portion. A mating edge connection is provided between the first and second portions. A gasket is mounted in the edge connection. The gasket includes a compressible strip of electromagnetic interference (EMI) limiting material. A pattern of holes are formed in the strip to improve compressibility and thus enhance EMI shielding.
