FIELD: equipment for deposition of protective coatings on steel products, such as wires or strips. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has deposition chamber 1 and melt bath 2. Deposition chamber 1 is equipped with vertical intake channel 11 positioned in its lower part and submerged in melt of bath 2. Discharge and supplying branch pipes 10 and 13 are arranged in upper parts of deposition chamber 1 and bath 2 for creating vacuum and excessive pressure. Such construction allows zinc and aluminum coatings to be deposited onto steel products without contaminating environment due to elimination of hazardous outbursts into atmosphere from melt surface.
