<p>The invention relates to the method for processing hydrocarbon stock including heavy petrol residues which contain fractions boiling at a temperature equal or higher than 350 °C. The inventive method consists in generating a high temperature heat carrier by combusting a fuel in an oxygen atmosphere, preheating the hydrocarbon stock to a temperature which is higher than the melting point thereof but lower than coking or gumming points, simultaneously supplying the high temperature heat carrier to a reaction area of a pyrolysis chamber and in subsequently quenching reaction products, said hydrocarbon stock being heated to a temperature ranging from 700 to 2500 °C at a speed equal to (4-5) x 10 5 grad/sec. Said invention can be used for the petrol industry. The inventive method makes it possible to increase the degree of processing of the stock and extend the range of the end products such as synthesised gas, light hydrocarbons for fuel use, coke, carbon black, and to increase the production thereof.</p> |
