PURPOSE: A method for managing a lottery shopping mall service using the Internet is provided to supply a commodity for prizewinners through a lottery by collecting a fixed number of commodity purchase applicants applied to the commodity designated by a shopping mall operator or a user. CONSTITUTION: A shopping mall operator(1) inserts a self-selected commodity or a commodity selected by a purchase applicant(2) in an Internet shopping mall(3). The purchase applicant(2) checks the commodities inserted in the Internet shopping mall(3) and pays an application fee to the shopping mall operator(1) through a method suggested by the shopping mall operator(1). If the number of purchase applicants is reached to a collected number in the closing day, the shopping mall operator(1) closes applications and decides and publicizes a prizewinner(5) by a pre-fixed lottery method. The shopping mall operator(1) purchases a commodity(4) using money received from the purchase applicants(2) and delivers the commodity(4) to the prizewinner(5). The shopping mall operator(1) obtains a profit through a large quantity of purchases.
