PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium capable of measuring blood sugar and used for a system for utilizing the recording medium mounted on a portable terminal device as a blood sugar measuring device, connecting the portable terminal device and a server for managing blood sugar information received from the portable terminal device to a network, and to provide bidirectional service between them. SOLUTION: The recording medium 1 includes both a sensor circuit part 11 for generating a current corresponding to a blood sugar level in blood and a control part 13 for converting data digitized from the generated current in a signal processing part 12 into blood sugar level data, writing it in a storage part EEPROM 14, reading the blood sugar level data from the EEPROM 14, and transmitting it via a communication control part 16 to the portable terminal device, to which the recording medium 1 is mounted. Furthermore, the recording medium 1 includes an electric power source part 18 for both receiving electric power from the portable terminal device, to which the recording medium 1 is mounted, and for supplying the electric power for each part in the recording medium 1. |
