PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more convenient printer in which a user can purchase consumables or related articles of commerce, e.g. an optional apparatus, by simply operating a printer. SOLUTION: Data of purchasable articles of commerce concerning to one's own printer 1 and personal information of a user is recorded on a recording medium in the printer. That data is displayed at a display section such that it can be scrolled, and a desired article of commerce inputted. Consequently, purchase is offered automatically to a communication unit 3 on the selling side connected with the printer 1 through a communicable line. |
